Smudge I've read this somewhere also. Out of contract in the summer too.....

However, his stats don't exactly light up the skies.... Over the last 3 years he's been on loan to Basingstoke Town (4 appearances 3 goals). Leatherhead (11 & 6) Woking (10 & 0) Hemel Hempstead (2 & 1 ) and Hampton & Richmond Borough (10 & 3).......

And 12 in 29 on loan at Dundee currently.

Would have no issue with this - looks pretty tall, Bowen obvs saw something he liked in him. Would be cheap no doubts

J Clarke seems to have had a poor season, he needs to sort it next year. Ehib I like and I’d expect him to start plenty of games next year. But certainly need further support - someone like this and some old experienced journeyman who knows the division would be ideal

TiagoIlori Is he really that much better than the young strikers we have knocking on the door already?

Well, if we lose Joao, Puscas, Meite and Long, are our own young strikers enough to fill that void?

Jahmari Clarke who you’d think would step up couldn’t get into the FGR team that finished bottom by some distance but that doesn’t always mean much.

You seriously want to go into next season relying on Clarke, Carroll and Ehib? Two strikers who are unproven at that level and may not even make it and a slow striker at the end of his career. We need a fox in the box striker, someone like Cureton who knows where the net is in the lower leagues and someone else who can link play.

Zach Robinson has done it for Dundee, has a point to prove and is young so will only improve.

Scored in Dundee’s promotion game. Would him and Dundee prefer a crack at the top flight then league one?

Why did League 2 Wimbledon loan him out if he was so good? Surely they would have used him themselves if he was decent.

I would suspect it's to do with his previous record and by the time he's banging in the goals for Dundee, they have entered a loan agreement and can't recall him

Technically all three strikers are unproven at that level

Weren’t Wimbledon relegated last season? I wonder if there was a loan fee which Wimbledon couldn’t refuse (I can’t imagine the wages of a 19 year old would’ve required him to be sold/loaned out).

From reading on the Dundee fans forums, and naturally take this with a pinch of salt, the manager that followed Bowen, simply doesn't like him as a player and potentially as a person - so they shipped him out on loan knowing he had a year left of his deal still where they could flog him if he was a success.

Bowen clearly seems to like the kid, hence the apparent interest.
