I can't help but feel Brogue is banking on pulling in numbers with minimal effort.

Big upgrade on Bouzanis, perfect age for a keeper. Yes please.

He was brilliant for the Brawn GP Team in 2009.

Why don't we just get Lumley back, quite liked him, was popular with fans.

Impression that I'd rather have Jenson.

But he was a mainstay of Brentford's rise up the divisions then played a handful of games in the PL with Brighton so he can't be a complete failure and must have some good points about him.

OK so he's no Hahnemann or Martinez but you're going to have to be extremely lucky to attract or unearth someone like that at this level. As long as he's a step up on what the club have had this and last season, that's all you can ask.

He's now 34 (35 in February) and 6'3" and wears his hair upside down.

Currently discussing terms with him apparently. Still have to agree with WBA though whether it'd be a permanent or loan switch as still has a year to run on his deal at the Hawthorns.

A view that seems supported by his save stats.

3 odd a game originally, less than 2 a game last couple of seasons. Although don't really know how to interpret keeper stats.

Can't say I remember much about seeing him play.

Would've thought there's better keepers available than this - especially ones who are a bit younger.

Still don’t know why we got rid of Southwood. We already arguably had league one’s best performing keeper on our books. I can only assume bridges were burnt because otherwise it seems nonsensical.

Because he got scapegoated for Paunovic's inability to organise defending set pieces.

Don't imagine he wanted to come back to be behind a 30+ L2 Keeper.
