He's a big lad.
Son of a friend of mine is a mate of his and he grew up down this way.
Signed for Chelsea as a teenager and played in a couple of first team games for them in midfield (played up front as a boy). having secured a fantastic first contract after which he took all of his mates on holiday.

I think he has underperformed compared with what was expected of him.
Build-wise a bit like Loftus-Cheek.

This would be an excellent signing.

Doubt this will happen.

Understand despite Tino Anjorin being pictured at Portsmouth training ground today, no move is completed yet.

Portsmouth are concretely trying for Tino due to strong relationship with Neil Bath.

There is also Dutch, French, Danish & Championship interest. Tino is NOT for sale.

Apparently Chelsea want him to remain in England, so that could make it easier for us. He's got to be of Championship level though.

Yeah, I have seen that too. Do you think this might mean no Amos?

Sounds like Amos is still on

Would give us a lot of CMs - Senga and Craig looked handy yesterday, with Amos, Wing, Savage and potentially this lad as well.

The recruitment looks spot on atm. I was impressed by Senga and Craig yesterday. I’m looking forward to seeing a young energetic midfield again.

Also, I would have no problem starting Carson at LB next season. He looks ready to me and isn’t scared of a tackle or two.

I guess the choice between training at Bearwood or dodging the donkey shit on Southsea beach, its a no brainer.......

In League 1, Bearwood must be an absolute head turner, particularly for someone like Charlie Savage who's used to similar facilities at United . Must soften the drop of 2 divisions considerably.

Be quite a coup to persuade him over higher league clubs plus I think Chelsea would prefer him loaned into the Championship. Helps also that Reading have a specific player development coach which PL clubs like I believe.

If he does arrive one hope he delivers and doesn't just turn out to be a Rahman mk II.

It does get a bit of disparaging noise as it’s the one good thing linked with Dai. But I’ve no doubts it’s helping attract some of these players

Bowen does seem to have a pretty clear idea of what he wants which helps

I thought the 'view from the stands' was that 1 season loanees wasn't the way forward.... Or is that just in hindsight when they turn out to be shit .... :D

If it means you've got the chance to sign a player who will improve the team who you wouldn't otherwise have a cat in Hell's chance of signing, I don't see the problem. Also as long as its one or two instead of five or six,

Yeah 2-3 to supplement what we have

Not be your entire first choice midfield, LB and GK like last year

Yeah, loans with a view to a perm move are fine (for the right sort of player of course), even loans with no hope of a perm move are fine in ones or twos. Just don't clutter your squad with players who have no stake in what level you're playing at next season.

Random Twitter journo saying he may go to Pompey but is hanging on hoping for Champ interest. Our interest has cooled and looked/looking elsewhere.
