Royal Lady It'll be a sad day if we let Simon Cox go. As I've said before, someone who is born and bred in a town and wants to play for their home town league club is a rare thing these days. Good luck to him if he goes, I hope he moves onwards and upwards and RFC rue the day they let him go. Will any of our Academy players ever break into the first team?

It's not a rare thing at all. It's a rarer thing them being good enough and it looks like Cox might not fit into that bracket unfortunately.

Good luck to Simon if he goes. I always rated him as a striker and it will be sad to see him go, but let's face it, this is Reading, even if we had Wayne Rooney in our reserves he wouldn't be given a chance.

Admirable sentiments, but sadly football is a hard-headed business these days.

Did you hear Coppell after the game? Instead of saying he has a bright future at Reading - Coppell said Simon Cox is at a cross-road in his career. Basically meaning he wants to play regular but wont at Reading.

As for using the term murked? Oh you sad little loser.

FA Cup game where Spurs barely got out of 2nd Gear & cut & thrust of Premiership football???? Big difference.

That would be Jog On to you dear...

Having seen your photo on the 'mystery pair' thread (proudly posing with Uncle Daddy) I find it laughable that you know the difference between day and night, let alone football matters!!
