Too late as in it was too late to sign Stephen Hunt when he was on his way to Bradford, or Kevin Doyle when he was about to sign for Stoke ?

We were always favourites to get Doyle. Hunt was offered a step up in 2 leagues.
We won't nip in here, they are as good as gone it sounds LOLike.

Two pretty decent signings if Derby get them in.
Both pretty proven at this level, although I'm a bit surprised that Bruce is letting King go so quickly, he obviously hasn't impressed him.

Too selfish. It would be like having Nicky Forster in the team again. I much prefer two strikers on the pitch who play well together, not one who goes it alone and another who has to just pick on scraps.
