If Palace collapse...

...anyone think any of their players would be worthwhile pursuing? Danny Butterfield has always caught my eye for example.

Nathaniel Cline. Think he's their highly rated right full back who drilled one in against us last season?

Nope

Football League rules mean if Palace are liquidated, then the Championship would operate with just 23 clubs next season

from bbc

a lot of you are worried about Crystal Palace and their very serious threat of liquidation and it's impossible not to share your concerns. Here's the latest quote from Brendan Guilfoyle, the administrator put in charge of the Eagles in January: "I've already made the calls [to other clubs]. What I'll actually do after the [1500 BST] deadline is start selling players. The enquiries are out, offers have been received. There are a number of players who have value but once they're sold and if no-one else comes in then I'll have to resign, walk away and then the liquidation process will re-start."

All irrelevant as they've sorted out a deal with Bank of Scotland. CPFC2010 are about to take over the running of the club.

Still doesn't mean that they can't or won't sell players, nor does it mean they a suddenly 'flush' with cash. There will be more outs and ins, for sure.

I doubt that as they wouldn't have enough players left to be able to field eleven players and seven subs.

The Palarse deal is far from over ... I hope for the sake of the fans that something get sorted out. However if this consortium are just gonna start splurting cash buying players they are only delaying liquidation.

Given the current situation with Palarse and portsMOUTH I am quite glad that Madejski has kept on top of the finances like he has

Surely that would depend on the number of outs and the number of ins wouldn't it WR?

The way it looks like going they will be short on quality that's for sure.
