bobby1413 I'm 5' 6" so not a giant. Also I never stand up persistantly, but stand up when singing or it looks like we might score.

Do you ever consider the person behind you when you stand up or do you just do it without thinking?

Do you ever consider standing up yourself if the person in front of you is standing?
Or better still, do you ever consider going to support Oxford?

Yes and no. Your point is?

Fcuk the person behind you, it's a football match FFS.

It's fecked me off a bit.

It's my seat for the season and I don't want any trouble but not being able to stand up and direct chants at the away fans will ruin the game for me.

I love sitting in Y25 as banter with the away fans and the atmosphere is the main advantages. Without it - what have you got? Just a football match

Keep standing, eventually the person behind you will learn to stand as well, this will thern spread and the whole East Stand will be stood!

Or he might complain to a steward and you could be thrown out.

A Bit extreme I suppose, as, unless you do it lying down, people STILL won't be able to see.

bobby1413 During the city match yesterday I kept standing up and chanting with everyone else. But sometime in the second half some guy behind me puts his hand on my shoulder and says, would you mind sitting down as my friend is quite small and can't see.

Bit annoying as the match was really a great atmosphere, everyone was standing up in periods and I get into the game more if I stand whilst singing, rather than just sitting there.

Anyone else had any trouble like this before from other fans?

If you were only standing at particular times in the game then tough shit to those behind you!!! They have legs, f**king use them.
