Didn't do Drogba any harm.
Who booed Drogba, the Chelsea fans? Or was it the same Reading fans who like AP says, boo opposition players for diving when they have clearly been fouled, or boo the ref for not giving a decision Reading's way or most frustratingly boo opposition players for playing well against Reading in the past!
Home fans booing an away player gives the player extra incentive to do well. Home fans booing a home player is demoralising and will not help that players performance.
Royalee, you stink of a glory hunter mate.
Yes, a glory hunter who's supported his local team since he was 6 and travelled to the likes of Colchester, Cambridge, York, Dorchester and Bury in his quest for glory.
We haven't played Dorchester in the past 4 years have we?

Bournemouth played their games there a few years back when it pissed it down and we got beat.

Eh? Are you saying that Drogba has finally lived up to his potential because the Chelsea fan's booed him last season.
No, I'm saying he got his finger out after Chelsea fans let them know what they though of him and his manager had a word in his ear. If you listen to a lot of Drogba's interviews he'll talk about the stick he got and how it fired him up.

RoyaleeAlan PartridgeHahnemann's HairdresserAlan Partridge Just not a retard that thinks booing one of our own players is proactive. Mostly started by newbies who haven't ever really seen a bad player before.
It works when the opposition players get booed!![]()
Were any of the boo's coming from the same people who booed Richardson after he had fairly won a corner. Most baffling moment of the night!
To be honest I think this arguement has run its course now, both sides of the arguement have been said and for what its worth I think the original arguement is strongest. Football is a performance based buisiness and Seol hasnt performed to his best for a few months now. He has shown he is a capable player though and I look forward to the day where I can come on he and say how well he has been playing of late whilst eating some humble pie!
The same that boo the opposition for 'diving' after he's clattered by our centre half and then scream for a penalty after ANOTHER Doyle dive.
Seol was crap yesterday, not gonna defend him for that, he's not impressed of late, (Brum away apart) but still there was absolutely no excuse to boo him. Mindless.
The reason for the booing is to get to him and wind him up so he performs better in the future and has a point to prove. Lita came in for some stick and even Coppell told him to up his performances and he's now playing superbly and has been arguably our best player since Boxing Day.

Only one Trevor Morley Now will I get a response to this - or will Royalee having got his fingers burnt in the past think better of it!

When Seol went off I couldn't hear any booing through the loud shouts for Blakey.
Seol had an awlful game. Doesn't show any drive. Hates a tackle gives the ball away to easy.
While I talking of such characteristics did no one notice that yet again Mr Oster had an awlful game until Hunt was hanging around on the side waiting to come on.
No! I'd show you the video of the game so that you could reconsider - only my sodding recorder didn't work! Crying or Very sad
sorry to hear that, but mine did the same. To which bit of my statement do you refer? Was I completely wrong?
