Ian Royal Keepers need a bit of fat to cushion the impact from dives. And Kenny makes one hell of an impact so needs more padding than most.
 Vicious circle !

Now there's no call for that... Paddy might be rotund but I don't yet think he's achieved a spheroid shape - and by all accounts he's quite a peaceable kind of bloke with a decent sense of humour...

He's not known as "Fatty" Kenny for no reason.

but he does seem to be a decent guy.

I reckon he's a pretty good keeper too.

There was a piece about Paddy on footy focus (?) the other week saying how he was going to run 3 marathons in three days for charity - the words 'fat' and 'twat' probably aren't appropriate for him anymore!

I'd rather we didn't sign Kenny, he's certainly no improvement on what we already have.

he might not be ready to be number 1 yet but IMO, A FED is definately a long term replacement?

is that the feeling at the club?

Paddy Kenny? At Reading? No thanks, I don't like cheats like him and wouldn't like to see him at the club.

When has he cheated?

Good keeper, never seen a salad.

I think he is refering to last seasons home game where he handled outside the box and only got a yellow card. Not really his fault the referee was a weak wally.

What I don't like about him is his look of innocence when he has clearly done wrong. Obvious in the above example and with the penalty he gave away at their ground last season and also numerous other misdemeanours.

Must admit he took all the jibes well from the fans this season and joined in with the banter, which notched him up a peg or too in my estimates.

That said, i still don't really like the fat git though.

Have you forgotten his tug on Rougier's shirt when he was beaten?

And his "save" outside the box.

I can only assume Spacey is talking about the handball from the League game a couple of seasons back. Something that virtually all keepers would have done in the same circumstances including ours.

Hardly his fault the ref made a cock-up by not sending him off.

I would imagine Spacey is referring to the handball outside the box against United last year and he probably thinks (in his own misguided way) that Kenny cheated to save himself from being sent off when actually Mr Trevor Kettle bottled the decision.

It's similar to Spacey's views of the Ronaldo penalty incident against Man Citeh.

I think you can forget about having a job as a mind-reader as that's certainly am not what I am thinking. The ref was a bottler.

Would you consider Hahnemann a cheat as well?

I don't recall him tugging on anyone's shirt when he's been beaten.
