Y21_Royal Presumably DLC gets the title of 'best right back' on the basis that he's not playing and must therefore be better than what we have.
Murts as proved himself to be far more consistent and much better defensively and positionally as DLC

In a parellel universe perhaps but in this one he's had about 2 decent games this season and been left for dead by so many Premiership forwards as to make any claims of his superior positioning nothing short of side splittingly funny.
Meanwhile, DLC has hardly put a foot wrong in a Reading shirt since he was subbed at half time on his dreadful debut in the hoops.

DLC has all the positional sense of Tony Bullimore. He has never played a consistent number of matches for any of the sides he has served in Scotland or England, there must be a reason for this.

Dirk Gently As well as scoring a cracker of a goal on the break - the kind of goal that we usually concede.

LongLaneYank What's happened to Murts? Is it all just a loss of pace as he's aging?

It's both. They occur together naturally - and get worse. Opponents will have recognised that and play to the weakness. Sadly, I fear that Murty's days at this level are numbered and, what's more, the same applies to other admirable contributors to the club's outstanding achievements, such as Ingi, Gunnar and (dare I say it?) Little.
