Dirk Gently And yes, we may be playing badly, but we have 7 teams lower than us who are playing just as badly and showing no signs whatsoever of improving.

You think Bolton, Boro, Wigan and Birmingham are showing no signs whatsoever of improving?

It's only the utter shiteness of Fulham, Derby and Sunderland that keeps me sleeping at night.

Unfortunately even Sunderland are no longer shit ... relegation zone here we come!

HNA should have a government health warning.

EVERY time there is a defeat this happens. This doom and gloom. It even happened when we won the Championship FFS!!!!

It's pathetic.

Ian Royal Reasons to be cheerful:

We may be shit right now but we've been equally as shit earlier in the season and picked up points.

The teams above us are not pulling away.

The relegated teams arn't getting closer yet.

Well that lasted a long time didn't it!!

Now just two points away from the bottom three!

'Enjoy the Premiership whilst it lasts' well unless everyone at the club from Mr Mad downwards pull out their fingers and start performing better PDQ it there's not much longer to enjoy. What's more it's unlikely to be an enjoyable experience.

Nice to know that all that money they charged us over the past two seasons really has 'helped the club compete effectively at this level'!

brendywendy happy days

our second best season ever

about to be visited by the prem league champs and biggst club in the world

still in the cup with a fantastic cup replay vs the giants that are spurs under the spot lights

a squad full of young quality that will see us good for years to come

a great academy set up and training ground

still time left in the winddow

a nice run in, only two? games vs big 4 after jan

happy happy days

get a grip u bunch o losers!

Well enjoy it whilst it lasts because if we do go down (worryingly to realists looking increasingly likely) we will lose our manager and all of our best players (the young quality you refer to) and it will be an awful long climb back up to the top again.

You forgot to mention a great academy set up with at least some of its brightest stars considering asking for a move elsewhere because they are not getting a chance to make it into the first team.

its reasons to be cheerful FFS

not reasons to consider suicide

That's because despite all you lot hanging on your crosses whistling, there's sod all reasons to be cheerful!

Good news for sure, but can we really be satisfied with crossing our fingers and hoping that teams around us will cancel each other out and enable us to survive? More effort in our own future at all levels please!

What was that Pompey performance? Rubbish. Given the run around by Kieron Richardson

Last time they were up that way they played Newcastle off the park. Was expecting something similar today to be honest.

Arch 1. If we hadn't dicked away the lead three times against Spurs and had hung on for a draw, we'd still be ahead of them now. Not much to write home about, but good for a laugh at Tottenham's expense.

2. Those of you who travelled today can console yourselves with the thought that you didn;t see your team beaten 3-1.... by Salisbury!

It's realistic.

All those RTGs telling us during the summer that we would be fine without signing more players.

The same RTGs telling us that we wouldn't be in the relegation zone at the turn of the year and they're right. It's looking like 3-4 weeks later than that!

The RTG's, JM, NH, NH, SC, KD, WD need to wake up quick and smell that double strength espresso coffee!

And the gap to the bottom three with us to face Man U and Chelsea in our next two games? Two pathetic points!

The desperation is in picking that as a comparison! The relevance? You might as well pick on the bottom club in the whole league pyramid structure and say 'at least we're better off than them'!
