Reasons to be cheerful:

We may be shit right now but we've been equally as shit earlier in the season and picked up points.

The teams above us are not pulling away.

The relegated teams arn't getting closer yet.

Well that lasted a long time didn't it!!

Now just two points away from the bottom three!

'Enjoy the Premiership whilst it lasts' well unless everyone at the club from Mr Mad downwards pull out their fingers and start performing better PDQ it there's not much longer to enjoy. What's more it's unlikely to be an enjoyable experience.

Nice to know that all that money they charged us over the past two seasons really has 'helped the club compete effectively at this level'!

Well enjoy it whilst it lasts because if we do go down (worryingly to realists looking increasingly likely) we will lose our manager and all of our best players (the young quality you refer to) and it will be an awful long climb back up to the top again.

You forgot to mention a great academy set up with at least some of its brightest stars considering asking for a move elsewhere because they are not getting a chance to make it into the first team.
