Winchester Royal Why, in November 2006, did I get banned for this offence, yet two fellows were walking around the concourse at half time today with Digital SLRs around their necks?
Double Standards again.

Jerry St Clair I congratulate the 4 tangoes who marched up to the back of the Blackburn end to tell half a dozen Blackburn fans to sit down. They almost certainly prevented innumerable deaths and injuries.
Just one of the 94 reasons why you won't find me at the Madejski next season.

yep, getting some away fans to sit down really is the final straw, isn't it?Jerry St Clair I congratulate the 4 tangoes who marched up to the back of the Blackburn end to tell half a dozen Blackburn fans to sit down. They almost certainly prevented innumerable deaths and injuries.

working class hero Why complain about double standards? Just complain about the policy. Why the hell should we not take pix? I do at many games and they become my screensaver. I am certainly not going to pay the extortionate prices asked by the club 'gallery' even if I didn't take pix. So no loss of income to RFC. On the other hands a loss of goodwill if they stop paying customers taking a souvenir.

A little bit fed up with the complete negativity and hostility in regards to the stewards in the stadium. I think people like you should remember that they are enforcing rules set by someone else. I bet you they don't exactly enjoy constantly telling rude and aggressive fans to "SIT DOWN", or to put their camera away.

I agree with you Bobby. My 5 year old son tried to stand on his seat because he could not see anything going on as people were standing up in front of him. He ended up with his foot caught in the gap at the back of the seat and it was a painful moment.
I fully understand why people stand and do so myself but there are reasons why we are not allowed to ie, the little uns and disabled who want to see whats going on as well.

Royal Lady Other than fans who stand on the back rows around the stadium, I have yet to see any home fan PERSISTENTLY standing. Fans stand at moments of intense excitement in a game. Whereas the majority of away fans at the Madejski seem to stand all game. It is purely the overzealous, jobsworth stewards who are making a mountain out of a molehill in my humble opinion.
