When their fans invaded the pitch at the end why were they (apparently) trying to get past the line of tangos to get to the away end?

Platypuss My God Hunt was awful.

My god yes, truly awful, I had to LOL at his amazing skills, head down and run followed by kick the ball out of play!

Platypuss My God Hunt was awful.

Our 'Player of the Season' was utterly awful, until he switched sides pretty much, even then when he tried to go round someone, knocked it out of play and fell over, I had to laugh. Saying that he saved his 1 decent cross for the 90th minute for Lita to score.

Otherwise, everyone put in a very good display, and at least we actually showed some fight and some class at the end of ths eason, took 38 games and was too late in the end but at least we saw something to be proud of.

As a stand alone day/match it was up there with the best and we would have been talking about it for years if Pompey had played, the bastards.

As it is I am unutterably depressed.

But looking forward to next season anyway.

I was too busy celebrating Doyler's to notice him going into the crowd, I saw him take his shirt off but Murtz said he was in the crowd and mentioned a police officer!

Fantastic, hope the goal will give him confidence for next year, hopefully with RFC.

He slipped into the advertising hoardings and was trying to get in amongst the fans but the police were stopping him and Hunty got involved. I noticed at the end of the game that Hunty went and had a go at the police again!!

Really pleased for Doyle that he got a goal, despite the circumstances - but at least at that point we were staying up. Poor Lita, gets a goal, after giving an assist in Kitson's goal and ends up having it almost ignored due to us knowing by then that we were down.

Fair play to Leroy at the end of the game, he looked as humble as he could ever look taking in the fans send off.

Kitson looked close to tears at the end when he came over to the fans. Either that or he forgot to put on his suncream.

Which is not unlike dear Stevie C. He couldn't bear not to play Oster and Gunnarsson when they'd helped to get us to the Prem. He was wrong, but hell, I'll forgive him for being such a bloody nice bloke. I might have to drive up to the Mad Stad at some point with a banner or something for him.

We won't know when he'll next be at the ground though. He needs a big group hug.

Can we see if we can get some info. Get a whole load of us there! I'm up for it. The players and staff wouldn't know how much they are adored and it might help swing it to make Coppell stay! C'mon RL work your magic and find out!

Dirkers is the one to find out for us I reckon. I'm in. I'll just tell my class I have an urgent appointment and if they sit quietly without alerting the rest of the school I've left, I'll let them off their homework!

Apart from the Fulham goal/relegation thing that was one of the best days out I've had at football. The inflatables were great, sorry to have missed spongebob. I hope Afers gave the kid who nicked it a shoeing.

We didn't look that great and Hunty was piss poor, but we still looked like world beaters compared to Derby, who well and truely deserved their new title and record. Most of their fans I spoke to were very nice and fully accepted how utter turd they were.

Very sorry for Lita that his goal didn't get the celebrations it deserved. I desperately hope Coppell doesn't go, but I'm glad I got the opportunity to wave goodbye and cheer him if he does.

I can see Lita, Hunt, Shorey, Fae and Sonko all going. I'm pissed off with Shorey for just oxf*rd off and not coming out to acknowledge us given how long he's played for us and the support he's had down the years. If he did come out, I take that back, but I didn't see him, or Ivar, or Bikey, or Duberry or Cisse.

Finally it was nice to see Schards and RL again, and meet Handbags, AP, AF1 & TROLLI, Andy & anyone else I've forgotten. I also saw Mrs B after the game but was too depressed to say hello. :x

Our support was incredible and I'm so chuffed I was there to be part of it. Even if I did get punched in the back of the head during a goal celebration and smack my shin on the seat in front during the mass hysteria our first goal produced.
