I'd highly recommend Young Royal's season review towards the bottom of the list. Still brings tears to my eyes. Especially with it starting at Wembley - my first ever game.

Mmmmmmmm.........

I haven't been there for ages (although I have downloaded pretty much all those videos!)

What a fantastic sight (site) !!!!

I will add my insignificant voice to those that are really looking forward to next season.

I can't wait.

From a fans point of view, being in the Premier League is F***ing Bollocks.

Let's go back to where the football and the people really matter.

Stick the TV-whore-money-media-megastar league up your arse.

I would so much rather be a so called 'yo-yo club' than be a mid-table nobody in the 'big' league.

And it doesn't matter what league we are in, I will still just love going to the football!!!!

At least we will actually have a chance of getting somewhere in the Championship and can have ambititons beyond that of not getting thumped every week.
Championship= PROPER FOOTBALL

I always look forward to the new season, but does this thread look like tragically clutching straws to anyone else. The truth is if we're not good enough to go back up next season I'll start getting the feeling that maybe we've had our time. If we're brilliant again and bounce straight back up I'll be delighted, but even then in the back of my mind it'll only reinforce my view that relegation this season could so easily have been avoided.

Hull 1 - Bristol City 0. Well, at least it's an easy trip down the M4 next season, rather than a dire journey up North.

i,too am looking forward to the championship.i can honestly say that i didn,t particularly enjoy being in the prem.. all we really had to look forward to was avoiding defeat each week. if we werent going to compete ,then we,re better off to be playing in what,in my opinion, is a damn good league!! just think, saturday 3pm kick offs,4 extra games,a few less prima donnas..(including in our own team!!).theres also alot more to play for .not only do we have to avoid relagation again,we,ve got promotion , the play offs, hopefully lots more goals... bring it back on!

Don't you mean 8 more games? Or are we going to have abysmal cup runs?

Um.. in our first seasom we came 8th, just outside Europe. We drew with Man Utd twice (nearly three times) and with Chelsea and didn't lose to either of them by more than one goal. We thrashed various teams at home, eg Spurs and hahahammers, got the double over Man City, Sheff Utd, West Ham, Fulham and Bolton. I don't call this looking forward to avoiding defeat.

This last season was a disaster because of a refusal to strengthen and even then one paltry goal against a rubbish Spurs defence would have saved us. And we wouldn't have gone into a third season without learning from our mistakes. I'm quite sure, had we survived, that we could have had a decent season. In fact come back to me when we're eighteenth after Christmas and tell me you'd rather be there instead of the Premier League.

Just watched the play-offs and learned that we will have the excitement of playing Doncaster Rovers next season.

Yesterday I watched Hull beat Bristol City. Winning goal scored by a striker who will be 40 years old during next season.

Doncaster were a much better side than Hull.

I predict that Reading will not get 6 points from Doncaster and that Hull will beat Derby's record of lowest points in the Premiership.

I strangely didn't enjoy the Premiership either, suppose it was all those years of Chesterfield and Stockport. Suppose it was because we couldn't go up and no chance of reaching Wembley.
All I know is we well be Away guaranteed first game because of the festival!

August 9th Blackpool A- happy days
August 12th- Burnley H
August 16th- Doncaster H
August 23rd- Preston A

I am loving the championship already.

I'm excited by the prospect of away trips to Selhurst Park, Loftus Road and the Valley thanks to the lower priced season ticket freeing up some spending money.

Also the prospect of winning games more regularly and having something positive to play for.
