Kebe looks like someone signed from the French lower leagues, which is exactly what he is, a lower league player. Quick, no control, can't cross.

To think we signed him to keep us up.

And don't say we didn't sign him to do that, casue we never signed anyone else.

It's still unbelieveable......

floyd__streete Kebe - apart from the goal which was presumably a fluke - was absolutely atrocious tonight. Only RFC would sign a player on the basis of his pace and then hope that he develops some footballing ability.

You've heard the Dwayne Chambers rumours as well then.

Alan Partridge
Royal Rother I have already acknowledged FS's perfect right to express his opinion. If I was sniping at the players from the comfort of an armchair you might have a point. But I'm not so you don't.

Now, do you have anything to offer on the subject of Jimmy Kebe yourself?

You see, that's a direct question, asking you for an opinion.

Which floyd told you exactly how Kebe played last night. He looks awful from the cameo's I've seen.

I was asking Platypuss for his opinion.

too be honest, I thought he was one of our better players last night, and I think he will be good for us next season.

Royal Rother Here's a challenge - can you post something positive about the performance from the players last night? I promise it won't cost you anything.

You see, what I did was apply comments on Kebe's performance last night to the Jimmy Kebe thread and general comments on last night's game to the FGR match thread. I hope that this isn't too complicated a system for you to work out in future, old man.

Not sure you and I were at the same match last night Floyd. Kebe's crosses were dreadful and he fell down too easily. However he combined well with Rosenior and took his goal well and his pace caused FGR problems. At least he was involved in the game...which is more than some, ie Simon Church

Sonko was signed on the basis of raw physical attributes and he turned out ok!

Centre half and winger are slightly different propositions.

How very dare you! I liked the old huffer and puffer.

I say again, it was his cross which Adie turned in against Wolves and he also scored that game = Meaker legend.

Yay The Meaks.

I absolutely hated him when he first started playing for us mainly cos he was shite, but he eventually grew on me with a handful of decent performances.
