Sun TzuRoyalBlue The club talk of a snow clearing machine but I get the impression that is for the pitch.
I suspect that the undersoil heating (which keeps the pitch at about 10 degrees) will mean unless we have way more snow than we've had so far (which I don't think is forecast) there won;t be any snow on the pitch. Also I'm not sure what effect a machine would have on the turf !
I'd be fairly sure the machine is for the roads, but seeing as the snow has virtually gone anyway I don;t think there is an issue...
RoyaleeWest Stand ManRoyalee Three words... under-soil heating.
Several words -- doesn't clean up the approach road, the seating, the steps, the footpaths etc etc etc.
It's people with your levels of common sense who are why the country is on its a*se. All that is needed is care to be taken by spectators - years ago these games would never have been in doubt and the world didn't end.

I give in. It is impossible to keep ignoring you as you really are an arrogant little prat.
1. Games were called off in the past due to terracing being iced over, roads being icy, footpaths being icy -- I could go on but it is probably beyond your vast intellect. If you were old enough to actually remember what happened in those days you would be better positioned to make a case.
2. The club is legally liable for the spectators who use the roads, paths, steps etc that constitute part of the stadium, so it is more than common sense it is essential that they have that all made safe.
You are back on my ignore list, thanks for reminding me (again) why you are there.

If certain people were on their *rse it might silence them!
No matter how careful people are, if steps etc are covered in sheet ice they will have accidents, some of which are likely to be quite bad. Not sure you are right in your fond memories of the past and, even if you are, maybe the world is now in a better place with fewer avoidable accidents.

Royalee I wasn't saying that the world was somehow a better place now, I was implying that people are more soft-centred these days at shiny new football stadiums forever coming up with reasons not to go about things normally. If some of the Scandinavian supporters and organisations were as wet as we are over here, no games would ever get played.
