Vast Majority is an overstatement, i've seen him play plenty of passes out of defence when it's appropriate.

He'll also kick it into touch or lump it up field if appropriate as well.

I don't think we'll see a huge amount of impact from any of the youth players who haven't already been given some first team experience by Coppell. Davies is the most likely of the ones who didn't play last season.

I expect Karacan, Pearce, Henry and possibly Church, Kelly & Siggurdsson to play bigger roles. With possible cameo appearances for the likes of Baggie, Robson-Kanu, Hamer, Andersen, Bozanic and co. As I said Davies is the possible exception.

Anyone expecting our team to be mostly youth players is quite wrong IMO. We still have plenty of senior talent available, we'll just see the continuation of some quality youth players being blended into the first team. Something Coppell began. He may not have gone far enough, but you can't deny he's played a big part in developing some of these players and getting them ready for the first team with loans and a slow introduction.

I don't agree with that at all. He seemed very confident carrying the ball out of defence on occasions and pretty calm in possession. Guess we watched different games then.

I've seen him have some good games for the reserves, I'd hope the club don't decide whether to renew contracts based on performances in a single game out on loan !

The real question is; most of the current crop of youngsters can make the grade at Championship level, but can they make the step up to the Premier League?
We're yet to see.
