5 league wins and a couple of draws out of that isn't beyond the bounds of possibility IF, and a big IF, we apply ourselves. 17 points would make it 40 with 13 games to go. Another 10 point from the final 13 games should be enough to see us OK.

We were 3 points clear of safety and averaging ever so slightly higher than 0.4 points per game, particularly in his last two months in charge. A last gasp draw against a Bristol City side so poor that they're 3-0 down at home to Cardiff was hailed as a miracle by people glad to see Rodgers leave and McDermott come in, which sums it up really.
