Nope, i'm still gonna say that if we win our two games in hand we are still only 3 points off the play offs and if we could maintain that gap going into the final day anything could happen.

It's unlikely, but it's still possible. defeat today might have tipped the balance, but whilst the gap remains 3 points, we can still take it the distance.

if we were going to drop points this game was one of them, but results have favoured us so we haven't lost ground. who knows what will happen on tuesday v newcastle, but it's still game on in my view

Newcastle are one of our games in hand and they show NO signs of easing off after thumping blackpool 4-1. Can't see more than a point against them.

Can't see why the play-off push can't continue.

This is a good point today, after where we were on January 1st, this has been a great 2010 for us

................................................and more importantly we are, with 56 points safe in the championship, and who would have thought that four months ago, anything else would be a massive bonus.

mzungu_royal the play-offs are slipping slowly from our grip,

As if they were ever in our grip!

We've been rank outsiders at best but great credit to the team for getting that close.

Quite unbelieveable that we're still in there fighting with 5 games to go..

For approximately 15 hours before we went to Ipswich they were theoretically in our hands - but that's the closest they've been.

Really looking forward to Tuesday. Evening game atmosphere,a team with some 'you only live round the corner' supporters and the chance for us to gain a victory that would really signal our intent. Whether this season or next. Just loving watching RFC again.

Oh and forgot to mention, I've got a good mate who supports Sunderland. Say no more.
