Just got a text from a mate at the ground, says it'll be a miracle if Bryn hasn't broken his neck

More worried about Bryn than the result.

Has been a good 2nd half of the season, but the important thing is that Bryn is OK.
Hope we get some good news soon

Whatever playoff chance we had (and we all know it was very slim), there's no doubt that this team has been turned around by McDermott and his team. Well done lads.

Madejski, please, PLEASE, find some money to invest in this squad. We can make the playoffs at least next season if we can keep the squad together and add a bit of quality.

Best wishes to Gunnarsson.

EDIT: Just read the BBC report; says we were lucky to avoid a hiding and that Newcastle never needed to get out of third gear. Be interesting to read what those who went to the game made of it.

I thought it sounded as though we were on top for large parts of the game, but I wasn't there. I'd like to think the Press Association representative that wrote the BBC report was at the game though!

Win our 4 remaining games.
'boro lose 1 of their 3.
'pool lose 1 draw 1 of their 3.
Swansea lose 2 of their 3.

= Playoffs on GD (depending how heavily Swansea lose)

or am I missing something :?

Still highly unlikely, even though you've made me think twice about it. Your optimism is impressive!

Bryn sat with his with and has a bloody nose (Broken?). He looked sparked out on that pitch which, whoever it is, is never a pleasant thing to sit and watch.
