Sarah Star I actually hope Swindon go up... I know they are the devil's spawn to a lot of Reading fans, but they're a lot closer than Huddersfield and I have the chance that I can persuade a friend to come with me to the game and convert her to football... it's a long shot, but worth a try. :D

Yeah, it's...with the concept of "tactical voting" being rather timely, I do sort of understand the whys and wherefores as they would pertain to "hey, it sure as hell beats a trip to _____ [and not least of a Tuesday nite]"; for that reason alone, Newcastle's promotion is to be celbr7ed and that of Middlesbrough to be hoped for

OTOH, it's the SWINE

Which is why it would be all the more satisfying to see them do a Peterborough :) .

No, no, no! Anything that justifies a trip to Newcastle - especially on a Saturday, with the prospect of making a weekend of it - is to be massively cherished!

Any of the three with the exception of Rotherham, please.

In order of preference; Aldershot, Morecambe, Daggers.

3-0 could be all over in the first leg.

Poor Morecambe. Nice new stadium to look forward to next season as well. Still, they've come a long long way in recent years.

Now 4-0. The real "last game at Christie Park" will be such a flop for them

4-0 now. I was considering going to the second leg but think I'll probably do some revision instead.

SportingLife/Sky live match commentary 4: GOAL PAUL BENSON! The ball is lofted into the box for Scott to get in a header which is parried by Barry Roche into the path of Benson, who taps home. Benson was in an offside position when the ball was first played into the area. A talking point already!

Soon forgotten I'm sure!

Was Josh Scott's hat trick one of the perfect variety? Comm sez his first was tapped in with his left foot and the third was headed home; natural ht in any case

For want of anything better to do I've just been on Morecambe site to look at the plans for their new stadium. Interesting that two of the stands will be terraced. Does this make it unique (in the league at least) in terms of the modern stadium building?

Disgraceful from the morecombe players, turning up and losing 6-0 in a play-off game, pathetic.
