Possibly but then it wouldn't have looked like it was going over and the 'keeper would have easily saved it.

The deflection looked to have sent it way up, but it also killed the power and it just dropped like a stone at the end.

I think a red there is extremely harsh.

Ball going away from goal, player needing to do a lot to score with defenders maybe able to get back, keeper in the middle of the goal, if sitting down and I think he went down a little easily. And looked suspiciously offside.

Not offside then. Still not a clear goalscoring opp given where the ball was going IMO.

last man utterly irrelevant, and I've just said I don't think it's a clear goalscoring opportunity given the position of the keeper, the defenders, the attacker and where the ball was going. I'm not positive he'd have definitely been able to get a shot off, let alone put it on target.
