Personally I'm quite looking forward to the game tonight....assuming Wilshere, Johnson and Zamora get a proper go.

C'mon Hungary

Idiots who have paid for tickets and shirts and then applauded the team as they came out, how quickly they forget the world cup. These players couldnt give a shit about the team, the country or the sport.

I went last night, got free tickets from work. Got to say it was a good turn out (72,000) and despite the match being "pointless" to many, it was a good warm up for the Euro qualifiers and an entertaining match in its own right. Also it was a chance to bloody the new younger players. England as a team clearly need to address a few problems but there was some good passing and team play.

"....there was some good passing...."

I would hope that, at the very least, players on £100k per week + can pass the ball a bit!

I've just remembered this forum has an awful lot of republican, England team hating, cynics on here.

I don't see the link. Sorry.

Republicanism is nothing to do with football. It is to do with wanting rid of the royal family. I am sure it is quite common to want England to win at football as much as I despise Prince Charles.

One of the more bizarre postings I have read on here.

So anyone who criticises the over paid and under-performing assortment of over-hyped prima donnas that makes up the England team both now and in the past, is automatically, and by definition, anti-monarchist??
