Just got in from the game, The wall collapse was caused by loads of people rushing down to the front to celebrate the goal with the players and leaning over the wall. About a 30-40ft section of the 3 1/2ft tall wall collapsed under the weight causing about 10-15 Reading fans to fall over with it.
Most people managed to pick themselves up ok including TROLI who had a very astonished look on his face as he lay on the wall on the floor. 1 bloke needed to be looked at by the St Johns ambulance people but it looked a minor injury.

Credit to TROLI who succesfully managed to get us home in one piece (and in record time ). Quite sureal, Rasiak scores, a surge (nothing major) celebrating with Alex Pearce who is going bonkers in front of the wall before it gives way leaving plenty of people lying on the ground,but fortunately it appeared everyone was ok.

GRZEGORZ RASIAK snatched a dramatic 122nd-minute victory that was harsh on minnows Torquay.

Reading's Polish striker fired low past keeper Scott Bevan to set off wild celebrations which saw a section of the wall at the away end collapse.

A Gulls spokesman confirmed there were no serious injuries and said: "A couple of people were treated for bumps and scratches."

Royals boss Brian McDermott, whose side now host Northampton in the second round, said: "It was a tough, tough game and we're all very happy indeed to see that goal go in."

Gulls boss Paul Buckle said: "I was proud of my team. They deserved to win but just didn't get the breaks."

Torquay striker Elliot Benyon hit the upright three times with one effort being scrambled off the line and another rebounding to safety a minute before Rasiak fired his team into the next round.

That was dreadful. A fairly strong team from Reading dominated but failed to created anything of any note against a good well organised Torquay side who hit the post very late on and therefore could have done us before Rasiak's last minute thing that he did.

Personally I find this worrying that a team that is supposed to posses such tricky wingers and great attacking pace failed to delever anything of real note for the second game running. I have real fear for this based on what I have witnessed so far and with our bogey team next up we could be on our way to the bottom three before the month is out.

And we do so desperately need a centre back with pace... still with our ambition (and even less money) that won't be a problem will it.

Whilst there is always a concern when a side doesn't perform against lower division opposition - the fact is we didn't join the list of CCC casualties that went out this week and that can only be a positive.
