Sheffield weather watch

I know it is only Wednesday but we have had a mountain of snow up here in Sheffield (around 18 inches this morning) and it is still falling. No buses, trains and a few cars venturing out. Will keep you posted.

I doubt they will be busting a gut to get the game on either. They only have one striker available at the weekend as all their others are injured or suspended.

Cheers for the heads up, was only wondering whether the game would go ahead last night, but assumed it probably would barring any heavy snowfall nearer the day. Doesn't look too promising atm, even at this early stage...

Looked at the weather forecast for Sheffield and the last heavy snowfall is on Thursday, so hopefully the snow will clear by Saturday and the game will go ahead

Booked on the train to go up Saturday morning so hope it's on!

They're forecasting heavy snowfall on Saturday morning too unfortunately. Thing is they have provisions in place to get the game on, its just the travelling up there that could be troublesome. I want to go but will make a last minugte decision, hopefully it will be pay on the day.

Lost of snow combined with sun on Friday. Which could melt some snow making it ready to freeze over the roads come Saturday morning? Then more snow.

I got that too - it said :

We pay good money for those text alerts, you'd expect them to at least get the spelling right. Another case of the club taking fans for granted.
