Cretin. Climate change means all the extremes of weather getting more extreme. QED.

Could be on 4th Round weekend if we don't get past WBA and they don't beat Villa.

Dunno - looking at the team that Di Matteo put out at Portman Road last night, it's obvious where his priorities lie this year.

Not that you ignorant abuse is worth responding to but I cannot help myself. If you check you will find that despite the lies perpetrated by the powers that be that world temperatures are actually dropping and that sea levels in the Pacific are actually falling. Just check if you don't believe me. East Anglia Uni climate department were caught red handed manipulating the data a year or so ago and our regulators are using global warming to tax us.

Not that I think fossil fuels are a good idea as oil companies ruthlessly suppress alternative technologies and are gradually destroying more and more of the planet extracting oil from ever more difficult places and destroying more and more of our waterways (just research what Shell are doing in Nigeria or the fact that the oil is "still" flowing into the Gulf from all the fractures caused by the BP well disaster. Then you will have something "real" to worry about.

tbh, can't be bothered to spend the time digging out the statistics to respond to that - it would be massively off-topic and it would dignify the response.

Suffice to say that I'm happy for andrew1957 to stay on his flat earth with his fingers in his ears going "la, la, la."

I stand by my comment on the thread where he stubbornly clung onto his position despite all the evidence - which is that if ignorance is bliss he must be the happiest man in the world.

FFS can you move this to AE? The Team board is for reasoned discussion about the football club.

I did decline to answer for just that reason. 8)

Anyway, "reasoned discussion" ?!? - that disqualifies about 90% of what's posted here .....

I was always told that melting icecaps would lessen the influence of the gulfstream on our climate, one of the side effects being harsher winters.

Anyway, it's still bloody cold up here. -10 in Bradford at 8am this morning.

The game could and should have gone ahead. The major roads are all clear now, just the pavements that are covered. The pitch and stadium will be fine, so they really should have left the decision to today at the earliest...

Have to think there may be some truth in that - the thaw today and tonight was always forecast.
