Hugo Boss Can anyone give me a rational reason as to why Chelsea are so "hated" ?? I just don't get it. :|

I would say it is generally the completly classless way that both they and their fans have behaved since the Russian came in.

Jusy is stil out on Man City I guess, personally the City fans I have spoken to have all been quite quite realistic about things. They just laugh about it all and can't quite believe what is going on , they all seem to predict it will go wrong too.

Hugo Boss Nice one - Few more to add to the list. Keep 'em coming people.

PS: What do you mean by "DrogBARR" out of curiosity??

Sounds to me he says DrogBARR as that's how Motty says his name whenever he shoots?? Just a guess.

Some good rational points here chaps. Agree that the behaviour off the pitch of some of their players has been abysmal, but then the same can be levelled at a lot of professional footballers. Nobody seems to hate Spurs cos Crouch cheated on his Mrs, likewise Man Utd / Rooney.

I can't help feeling however that some of the reasons are completely irrational and have a whiff of jealousy about them. I'm sure most of us would be a bit "classless" if a billionaire Russian came in and turned our fortunes around. I think we'd all revel in our new found success and certainly don't think we'd suddenly hate the Club, yet some seem to hate Chelsea simply because a new owner came in and they've had success ever since. This change in fortunes would also naturally increase gates - It doesn't take a genius to work out that when a team is doing well, attendances increase. We've seen that with our own Club so can't really criticise that now can we.

LOL @ "Cashley Arsehole" by the way. Whilst his actions off the pitch leave a lot to be desired, I think deep down most of us know we'd leave our current employer if a similar employer came in with a massive wage increase for doing pretty much exactly the same job. I actually feel embarrassed for people that boo him. Sidwell did the same yet doesn't get boos??

And finally, as for their supporters being arrogant... Aren't all football supporters arrogant??!! It's the nature of the beast when you're doing well on the whole!!

It seems to be an Andrew Coleism in that this season he wants to be referred to as "Drogbarr" rather than "Drogber".

Whilst I generally agree with the sentiment, his quote "£50k is an insult when offered a quite hefty wage rise by Arsenal" is an even bigger insult to those Arsenal fans who pay their money to watch him and his 10 fellow players on the pitch. They have every right to voice their discontent IMO, however moronic it may sound.

Don't tell Mrs Franchise and No.2 son (they're both Chelski's) but I'm quite enjoying the current 'pain' they're suffering.

It's not much fun watching No.2 son cry (he is only 11), but I'm afraid I'll put up with that to see Chelsea slip out of the Champions League spots completely.

I suppose relegation is too much to ask for ?

He'll grow up to be a better, more realistic and more rounded person for the experience.

Everyone is quick to hate a club who take the quick route to success but wouldn't be quite so quick to turn down the same oppertunity for their own club. Yeovil Town would eventually be as despised if they paid their way to glory.

SLAMMED Chelsea scrape a 1-0 win against Bolton.

Scraped is the word. Off-side goal and missed hand ball for a penalty to Bolton. Draw would have been a fair result.

What I might do is....single out an individual such as Shane Long, I mean Soloman Kalou and start a hate campaign against him as he's solely responsible for our poor lack of form.

Some of us have hated Chelsea since way before Abramovich.

When they won the Cup in 1970 half the population of Reading around the age 5-10 suddenly became Chelsea fans including most of my mates.

Then later they had a team of obnoxious midgets - Wise, Sinclair, Stein to name but a few.

Relegation is too good for them - bastards

My opinion was fixed about him, when he was asked in an interview if all wages were reset to zero and we started again, who would be worth paying £100k a week. Without any pause the greedy arrogant oxf*rd displayed his total lack of perspective and class by just saying "me".
