Yet another message to The Rectum Crew

We couldn't beat a relegation side away.

Some of us have seven and a half million reasons to be a little annoyed.

I hope The Rectum is keeping you all cosy from the cold world of reality.

That is all.

Tell you what, instead of sitting behind an anonymous name on a fans forum (which, by the very nature of what it is, will always portray extreme opinions)why don't you get of your backside and put the amount of money into the club that you think we need? If you haven't got the money, or perhaps you need the money for other things, maybe you could get a bunch of rich entrepreneurs together who could then run the club as you think it should be run, like Portsmouth perhaps.

If you honestly think that JM has somehow stolen 'seven and a half million' quid from the club, instead of using it to pay off debts and trying to keep us as a self-contained unit, thus giving us the best chance to properly survive and prosper in the fairy-tale world that is football. Either that or you can take the easier and more comfortable line and criticise those who actually are trying to keep the club as a viable force. We are 2 games away from the CCC playoffs, and are in the FA Cup 6th round draw - or is that just a couple of facts that are conveniently forgotten in your view of the world?

I tell you what, I've got an idea - instead of paying my mortgage and other bills for March, I'm going to spend all my earnings on Euromillions tickets. I buy a couple of tickets each week, so if I multiply that number of tickets by a few thousand, then the chances of my winning £51 million are very nearly certain. Having won that amount I can then shovel it into the black hole that is football finance and still get moaned about by certain people who would think it wasn't enough.

Oh yes, I'm sorry but I don't know as much as you obviously do about what it's like to be up another man's rectum. It's not a place I've ever been, nor do I intend to give it a try (unless my master plan fails, of cours, and I might be forced into another way to make a living).

In reality we are the first away team to score at Selhurst Park since 9th November, if anybody thought this would be an easy game to win then I would suggest their head is up their own rectum.

2WW, prior to yesterday Palace's season's-form was 8-4-4 18-13 at home.

They had been unbeaten since OCTOBER and had gone THREE MONTHS and 17 days without conceding a goal at home. We scored 3.

They had beaten Leicester, Portsmouth, Watford, Coventry, Doncaster, Preston, Sheffield and Boro.

Their 4 defeats were Ipswich, Millwall when the were flying, QPR (top) and Swansea (second)

They are a GOOD home side and recently got Ambrose back, Easter and vaughan (Everton) in on loan.

That was a good result and they won't go down

H 3-2 Leicester
H 1-2 Ipswich
H 4-1 Portsmouth
H 0-0 Burnley
H 1-2 QPR
H 0-1 Millwall
H 0-3 Swansea

H 3-2 Watford
H 2-0 Coventry
H 1-0 Doncaster
H 0-0 Hull
H 1-0 Preston
H 0-0 Bristol
H 0-0 Norwich
H 1-0 Middlesbrough
H 1-0 Sheffield Utd

H 3-3 Reading

Its not so black and white as this is it. I feel like perhaps we could/should have spent more and strengthened the team and I sometimes do wonder why we seem to have sod all money. But when it comes down to it, me, you and anyone else cannot change the financial position the team is in. So to me there is no point moaning about it all the time.
Personally I accept how the club is won, glad we are not run like Plymouth and continue to support the team, as thats just how it is

is that the 7.5 million braincells you are short by?

win all our home games, and draw all our away games and we'll probably be in the playoffs

Harpers So Solid Crew I wonder if he has been playing with the injury, didn't they say he was injured and ready to be substituted as the 2nd or was it third was scored?

I don't know tbh. Often unless it is something that is bad enough to keep a player out we never hear about all the knocks they have. Sometimes I hear about players undergoing fitness tests before matches for injuries I didn't know they had. Add to that as a person gets on in years those injuries tend to be more nagging and difficult to fully recover from. And Ivar is how old? Heck he might have come back not fully fit yet to try to help the team however he could down the stretch. Usually we are not privy to the full back story on these things...
