Mine made us finish 7th, one point behind Nottm Forest that's with us losing away to them and Leeds as well as winning all home games

So a draw there instead and we finish 6th 2 points above them.

I know football's a funny game but it's not
beyond the realms of possibility that Forest
could lose their next six games and be mid-table.

No that is NOT a prediction, but the next six is make or break for them.

if they do well (if we avoid defeat by them) they will help us loads.

I've got an identical top 9, just in a slightly different order. Reading are also 5th.

QPR
Norwich
---
Cardiff
Leeds
Reading
Swansea
---
Forest
Burnley
Leicester
Millwall
Watford
Portsmouth

I did it. We finish 9th on 70 points. Might not bother with any of the last 10 games now I know what happens.

It is all very simple really.

76 points is almost always enough for top 6. Last year 70 was enough but that is unusually low.

If Reading finish the last ten games with 7-1-2 for 22 points - then we will be in the play offs. If we win 6 out of 10 and a couple of draws, then we still have a chance.

If QPR are deducted points and end up in the play offs rather than with automatic promotion that could actually be very bad for us - as we could end up having to play them again. Perhaps we should hope they don't get a deduction (unless it is a VERY big one which puts them out of contention altogether).

brendywendy just did it:

QPR
Swansea
RFC - 80 points

QPR to be deducted points to take them to 4th, and lose in the play offs
reading and swansea go up automatically

^^^ identicaLOL...

Seriously though, do you think the brothers can kick on from this?

They must feel a little dejected, having lost like that... I know that BMD pumped them up in the huddle and all, but I do worry about it....

This is what I got - Forest, Leeds & Burnley have got some horrendous games to play in comparison with our run-in.

Without looking at the predictor I reckon we'll cobble together 4 wins, 3 draws, 3 defeats - that pretty much sums up our form over the course of the season - i.e. inconsistent.

15 points from a possible 30 - therefore we end up 69 approx 8-9th place. Sorry guys!

Without doing the predictor, it looks like we need to aim for 76 pts to get into the playoffs. With 54 now that means 22pts from 30 in 10 games. That looks pretty difficult.

74pts might to it, but we'd be relying on other results. That looks pretty achievable
