papereyes I maintain there should be a 'value added' category and would suggest that Stuart Holden has been pretty immense for his team this season.

Would love to see Charlie Adam win it, but this award is a closed shop and the winner will come from one of the Big Four+1. Van der Vaart or Bale would be worthy winners.

Modric would get my vote but doesn't it all depend when the votes were cast?

If it was around new year then Bale has to be a favourite, otherwise Vidic and Nasri

Young player has to be Wilshere doesn't it?

Ashley Cole definitely.

And young player has to go to Josh McEachran.

OK, I was joking on McEachran. BUT why not Ashley Cole?

He's been great for club and Country.

Dont disagree with you but the fact he is a defender will give him a disadvantage - for some reason people seem to think its all about goals

I think the voting is done around January.

Would explain Stephen Hunt's appearance in the Divisional team 2 seasons ago despite being total gash after Christmas.
