Reading the pne forum there aren't many of them that think they'll lose this one.

bbc.co.uk/sport • A draw would be Reading's 200th in the second tier

A 1-1 then, between the only two clubs in England who don't have to wear their change colours, legally/technically/historically speaking.

Preston haven't won a league game in Berkshire since 1982. Measuring that in Adrian Mole books, 8 have been published since North End returned to Lancashire from the Royal County with a maximum haul of points.

Surely 2 post-1982 curses can't be broken in 4 days?

BTW does anyone know if Preston are going to change kit, just for manners' sake tonight

Course they will - with pleasure because they love singing that retarded 'yellows' song.

If they are what price the loss of the malvinas given that these things happen in 3s.

That was the famous lowest League gate at Reading ever game (1713?) - which many thousands claim to have been at. Not me - teeny bit plastic!

Of course it was a low gate. There weren't any other teams to play in 1713.

When we beat Pompey on Saturday, I immediately thought
"Now we'll draw with Preston."

I hope that was just so wrong.

Yep - got a strong feeling we will ship at least one goal tonight.

2 - 1 Royals. Pitch in good nick once again and Howard carves them open to set up Long.

Yup. I said I'd be more than happy with four points from the two games, expecting a draw with Pompey, so I'm now resigned to tonight's game being a draw.
