I would have taken 0-0 before the game so I am happy with the point. The performance wasn't great but we weren't exactly going to go to Leeds and be allowed to play our usual stuff. Leeds got their tactics spot on and I don't think we ever really strung more than 2 passes together.

I thought we needed some more physical presence, so was dissapointed Manset came on so late. Church didn't really do anything. HRK did OK, caused some trouble down the left for Leeds early on but that was about it, same goes for McAnuff. McCarthy desearved to be MOTM.

Credit to Leeds who played well and desearved the win but I think we desearve some credit for weathering their storm and grinding out a solid result.

Can't really blame McAnuff for not really setting the game alight, as he was playing out on the right for most of the game and although he and Kebe have been known to alternate he is naturally left sided. Shows a lack of diversity on HRK's part, as he can't come in to directly replace the missing player but others have to be shifted around to let HRK in. Church and HRK were both ineffective again today and it begs the question why is Antonio not getting more opportunities?

Despite his MOTM award (which tbh I think he deserved) I think McCarthy had one of his worst games for us; seemed skakey at times, dropping a couple of routine catches and was downright lucky with a couple of the saves. I don't really know why I'm moaning about him, because he kept us in it! Maybe its 'cause I could do without all the heart-in-mouth moments at this stage of the season!

But the best thing is despite the winning run ending, BMc will put such a positive note on it and all the squad will be so focused on stuffing Sheff Utd on Monday.

Surely then that also shows a lack of diversity on McAnuff's part too as he can't switch to right effectively :|

I think it's a great point. Any game away against a play-off rival was going to be tough to win.

Thought Jobi was poor last night but then none of them had a particularly great game. There were at least 2 occasions where we had bodies in the box just waiting to tap it in & instead we tried to shoot from a crap angle or dribble the ball into the back of the net.

I actually thought HRK did quite well - stuck to his task & made a few decent runs so bit surprised at some of the criticism of him. Think he's done quite well the last few games.

Can't really moan about 8 wins & 4 draws from the last 12 games. We still have a great chance of getting 79 pts at least so all in all a phenomenal season. Really don't know who I'd want in the play-offs though.

Unbelievable negativity from some folks (hopefully not the players). Two months ago we were 12th, and even the play-offs seemed out of reach. Now we get cries of woe that we couldn't go to Elland Road and stuff Leeds, for our 9th win in succession. As St Etienne (not the team, the band) once said, 'people get real'!

Win Next Game remains the motto and we'll see where we end up. It's looking like 4th or 5th. If so, WNG will still be the motto (although a 0-0 at Elland Road in a play-off semi will be a perfectly fine result. As it was last night.

As others have said, Leeds did a job on us and played very well. Earlier in the season we would not have survived that unbeaten. A few of our players looked out of sorts, but that happens when the opposition puts you under that amount of pressure. On anotehr day, with another ref, Leeds would have been a man down and the game would be transformed. TBF, if the game was played away from Elland Road they'd probably have been down to 10.

Ledge was a bit more erratic than we've seen before, and our front two got little service. McCarthy was a mixture of brilliance shot-stopping and worrying impulsiveness that led to a couple of mistakes. HRK looked very lively for the first 25, but then just seemed to fade (although both our wide men were double-marked throughout so it's up to others to show in the space that should create).

Let's hope we put Sheff Utd to the sword, to cheer everyone up.

Just putting it out there, that was a SHIT performance, should have been 2 or 3-0 to them but McCarthy was amazing again and kept us in it. We completely lacked creativity, McAnuff and HRK were ineffective, Long was absent, Hunt tried but ultimately failed. The defence was mostly OK but kept screwing up.

But the positives are we got a point at Elland Road - a tough place to win, we are unbeaten in 13 and apparently Griffin has pace...

It was an appalling performance attacking wise though, McDermott got his tactics wrong and we were very very lucky not to concede (Watts chance at the end epitomised this). Leeds and Elland Road aside, if we play like that in any of our remaining games we'll be fortunate to get three points. Its not exactly unbelievable negativity to comment on this, don't think any of the comments on here have been unreasonable.

i think that was the game when Antonio could really have made a difference. McAnuff and HRK were crowded out every time and a bit of strength on the wing would have done wonders. Two of our best opportunities came when Ledge and Manset just powered their way through, think that is the way you have to beat Leeds.

Game was quite enjoyable, we didn't really create anything of note, but then again like others have said a point at Leeds is a GOOD thing not a bad one. Our fans were great, the blonde copper was easily 8/10, the two 10 year old stewards were lolzworthy. Got back at 3.30 last night, decided to sleep in the car for a couple of hours. :)

Spotted: Compo - telling everyone not to sing Griffin for England and this a shit hole i wanna go home. RobRoyal, FRF, Handbags, the person who was next to handbags who is off hobnob but can't remember :)

I certainly agree with the point about Antonio - would have been worth a go, and that was a thought I recall having wsith about 20 left (probably when we had a throw... )

chilipepper91 and as others have noted, the only team in the top 9 we've beaten is Burnley, so we're going to have to break new ground to get up to the promised land.

Probably, I don't think anyone knows what I look like, and plus I normally go to games with a paper bag on my head

McCarthy and Zurab were immense. We missed Kebe. I wish Mills would stop playing Hollywood passes. The one occasion we got the ball down and passed it quickly we made Leeds look shit. That said, a point at Leeds is an excellent result.

Thought we looked bright and the better side in the first twenty minutes, but Leeds did a job on us by stifling our width and HRK does not stand for Hal Robson-Kebe - we really missed Jimmy. Hats off to the back four, especially Griffin, who supplied what little width we had in the second half. Khiz and Harte were cool and quietly effective; Mills goes back-to-front a bit too often for my liking.

Everyone else just put in a shift and won a very hard-earned point. Posts on here just show how our expectations have become when some moan about a point at Leeds. I just hope we have not peaked too soon.
