Royal Monk They should be deducted any points gained while the offending player was on the pitch

It only works like that in issues of player registration - this is all about a breach of player ownership regulations.

(And even then AFCW successfully challenged the precedent of deducting points won a few years ago)

The perfect world would be for Reading to win the play offs v QPR with Faurlin scoring an own goal which clinches it for us.

Snowball As it stands, we would have to play them in the semis

LOL @ as it stands. The Sun newspaper, people, The Sun newspaper!

And the journalist has got his story from this board, his facts are brittle and unfounded, his recognition of the charges are unrelated to the points he makes.

We are in the season of lazy journalism, if we are deducted points, then there are no play offs, Swansea will start the appeal off by stating that Faulins goal last season gave Blackpool a premiership slot, the charges that have been brought against QPR are charges that the football league have thrown out, it's FA procedure to follow this through, 41 pages of hope and desperation, if you think it is that much of a certainty, back Norwich at 16's and Cardiff at 100's to win the league, because those are the prices available AFTER this ridiculous report in the soaraway.

Personally I don't believe anything in this particular rag. If you do read it, all it says is that QPR could be fined POSSIBLY UP TO 15 points so a total non story really....

Irrespective of who the offenders are, or where they are in the league though, they should have the entire library thrown at them over this one, just a shame the FA/FL didn't uncover it last season so, effectively, other clubs lost out then.

Now it is known it should be dealt with. Plainly bloody ridiculous it doesn't get finalised until the day before the end of the season though.

The Tredder doth protest too much.......

.....and I just LOVE one of the defence's being that QPR were cheating last season, so shouldn't be punished this!!

You sound rattled Treds!!

Will never happen .......its going to be a huge fine (for one of the richest clubs around :? ) and a nominal points deduction...

Im sure the inept FA have looked through the scenarios of QPR being taken to the cleaners, and the timing on any outcome, its impacts on playoffs, the issue of appeals, .....as was said many times on here before...the delay by the FA in getting this case heard earlier will mean they they will wimp out.....again ...

A reporter on Five Live said today that it is expected that they will be found guilty of a couple of the 7 charges, but none deemed to be "serious" enough to result in charges that could ..quote "cause chaos to the playoffs"...so a large fine is expected.....

royalexile £450,000,000,000

...huge fines in FA/footballing terms would probably ceiling at £1m imho ...so whilst it would be nice to financially bankrupt that midget Ecclestone and his inner circle....this time it aint going to happen ....they will probably pay any fine in steel bars anyway :)

I'd love to see a transfer ban for this summer. Imagine that...

But a £10m fine sounds good to me.

They're owned by Billionaire backers. It wouldn't touch the sides, and although it would appear substantial, QPR would get off very lightly. Denial of promotion is the only suitable punishment, but the FA wont have the stomach for it.

If the Prem don't like it, could they refuse to accept QPR?

15 points - never!

Mind you, if it does, looks like we would be playing them in the play offs away leg first lol.

QPR gone from 1.01 to 1.28 to be promoted on Betfair.

Sadly my bet at 1000/1 to be relegated doesn't look like coming to fruition
