AthleticoSpizz getting the right one though?

Would he have got Sinclair if it wasn't for his Chelsea links?

Congrats Swansea Jack. Jack Army were in fine voice and you won the day by being highly clinical. Good luck for next year.

Congratulations to Swanseajack.

The right team won, you've deserved that this season. Rodgers has taken a very good, solid, passing side and given it the goals it needed.

I think you and QPR will struggle with Norwich surviving at least a season, but enjoy it whilst it lasts and we'll see you back down here for the real exciting football in the not too distant future I'm sure.

Presumably by turning up to work and making Jose's tea.

He loves us so much he took players from our Academy as soon as he joined Chelsea (funnily enough he never mentions this part of his love affair). The man says so many empty things that I find it very difficult to believe him when he says that he loves the club the way you or I do.

IMO Martinez could have got them promoted but he decided to move to Wigan. As you say well done to Brendan for getting them promoted but they already had a solid platform to do so thanks to the previous management.

Didn't get the best out of them though (except Jobi) and almost ruined Cummings career when he left him horribly exposed at WBA. I don't know if you remember but he bought the club he loves ever so much into disrepute with his use of "contacts" when he was trying to take Smith (it wasn't talked about much, easy to miss).

Quite frankly I wouldn't pi55 on him if he was on fire, slow down if he was crossing the road etc etc much less congratulate him too heavily for doing a job that the foundations had already been laid for him to do. Neither do I believe his empty platitudes about how much he loves my club because the only thing Brendan Rodgers loves is himself (and Jose).

Congrats Swansea Jack. I had a good chat with a couple of your fans on the District Line tube to Wembley Park today. The one bloke was the "reserve" phtographer for Swansea City. Nice man. He took some photos of his son with my boys and we shook hands and wished each other all the best.
Thought your fans were in good voice.
You deserve to go up. Just wish we could have gone up when we had finished in the highest play-off place in the past but it never works like that for us.

Congrats Swansea Jack; the better team on the day won, taking the chances offered.

Good luck in the Prem; Brendan needs to spend a lot of time practising how to deal with corners before August or it could get a bit hairy for you!

Enjoy the ridiculous hype, the minute examination of every call, every decision, every utterance from a reserve team player.

Enjoy the daft changes to kick off times and dates, and the generally patronising tone the media will use when discussing you.

But also enjoy the trips to some of the greatest football stadia in the World (and Wigan), seeing some of the finest players, and of course, enjoy being able to look down on Cardiff!

All the best.

^greed. Surprised about the corner weakness considering Monk and, particularly, Williams are big boyos.

Borini has already gone, looks like Pratley is off somewhere although a fit Bodde is a massive plus. Think we have even less $ than you so Big Watch needs to utilise the Real and Chelski links - could do with a DCM and a striker or two from either of these. Can see Scotland coming back but he hasn't really done much since he left.

Will still be overseas so the changing ko times will actually help me. Hopefully back to catch a few games in Aug. I think most of us are realistic that it'll be a season in the sun but we'll give it a good crack. If we can do half as good as the 106 team then I'll be happy.

*no plasticio*

p.s. the old man was very complimentary about Urz fans but I knew that anyway.

It is hard work being an altogether reasonable-minded person...much easier to be an eye-rolling cyber-warrior decrying and dismissing people you've never met.

As I have posted elsewhere it is a big LOL to people who thought we deserved to win that game. The right side went up, and good luck to Swansea.

I am concerned though that they will get found out in the prem. They were gifted three goals by us in an otherwise even-ish first half, and then woefully failed to contain us after the break when we actually woke up. Their best bet in that league is to mix it up a little to survive, and I worry that anyone half decent will take them apart. Just my opinion, not being bitter ( ) and I hope they finish above Wolves!

The fear is that we aren't good enough to compete at playing the way Arsenal do and that the likes of Stoke will hit us via the 'they don't like it up 'em' angle. We'll need a few more old skool British players if we're going to mix it up - agree that this needs to be done though. Of the handful of games I've seen since Martinez took over, it's something that has been lacking when we've been chasing the game.

First 5-10 games are critical much as they were for you, a few early games at home verses the 'weaker' teams would be ideal. If you hadn't come back against 'Boro then the season could've been very different.

Looks like we've found a chest of gold coins in the sea with this GBP3.5m bid for Graham. Defo need a DCM - now Hughes has gone then maybe Sidders will be available

We've a number of players out of contract and need Doris De Vries to re-sign.
