Pissed off. Five sloppy goals conceeded this season in four games. Completely reliant on Kebe and McAnuff to create for the forwards. Harte and Griffin fading fast, Federici not commanding his area, defence unable to mark or clear at crosses.

HRK sounded very good. Needs to start now he's our penalty taker.

Today was laughable !! my sympathys go to the manager, he worked wonders over the past couple of years but has received no support from Madejski and it doesn't seem like he will. The worrying thing is that if we had got the win against Swansea we would still have been bored rigid with the "no money to spend" garbage that is regularly spouted out by the club.

Last 3 games...3 goals. One of which was from the spot, another which was from a set piece, which means we've had one goal from open play in the last 270+ minutes.

May well have been, although they still scored in the 6 yard box from a corner. But he didn't command his area against Millwall and he didn't do it at Pompey, and if the corner's got to his 6 yard box he didn't do it against Barnsley.

2nd goal was down to the defenders - nothing to do with Feds. Their player just ran straight thru the 2 centre halves with ease & no one picked him up apparently. For the record I prefer McCarthy but think the sloppy goals are down to the defenders today not the keeper.

Very worrying.

1 point against 3 teams who will not be in the top half this season.

Don't agree Pompey are a good side.

This team is a bloody joke, being beaten at home by a bloody crap side like Barnsley thanks to what is becoming standard atrocious defending.

All the money we've had in and all we've got to replace Griffin with is Gunnarsson - and as for Boggy Krapolo.....

Nice to see the standard appalling officials and Reading penalty jinx remaining intact though.

Sod it - we'll get better I'm sure.

I am stunned as to why the hell we didn't get BWP when we had the chance. Scored again today & would have been peanuts.

When we can only muster something shy of 16k, why expect anything other than mediocre Championship football?

I think it's more, as a result of mediocre football, we can only muster 16k.

Too early to be that, we ended last season strong, beat Leicester. Barnsley was never going to be that high an attendence, it's early in the season and they won't have brought many with them.

Our support at home ranges from about 15k - 17k. We get up to 18k/19k attendence when the away team is attractive to watch and bring 2k+ with them. I'm willing to bet Barnsley weren't much over 600

royalhaven seems like Kumalo and McAnuff had really off days. I think thats a few off performances for McAnuff.

Off-day? That guy is dogsh*t so far

Rubbish in the air, rubbish on the ground and embarassingly outmuscled for their first. Woeful
