It's shocking when someone so young takes their life - 42 is no age and even with a possible underlying depression (not confirmed) it would take something major event to tip someone from being "happy and approachable" one afternoon to being dead the next day. Particularly someone with an available support network.

The papers have been quick to play up the depression angle on the story.

He must have been acutely depressed, you would have to be to top yourself. But that does not mean he had depression, the condition.



We're also 8 pages in on a "sudden unexpected death" thread and the word "game" has only been used in connection with football matches going right. Most unusual for HNA

I can only imagine that something was going to come out in the press which tipped him over the edge. And it certainly wouldn't have been that he was gay.

If I add that he had only recently got back together with his wife having spent some time apart, and that our mutual friend was female you can probably work the rest out. Not sure as to why matters suddenly came to a head yesterday, and hoping that this had nothing to do with it.

I hardly think finding stuff on the net to say that there is a question mark over Rhianna's pregnancy is QUITE the same as stating Speed was gay on FB. It's not going to bother Rhianna what I think and I've not splashed it over FB in any case. However, spreading malicious rumous about someone who has just taken their own life bothers people who knew him (at least one of which is on my FB friends) and is also just plain nasty in my book. But then maybe I do have more morals than some on here.
