If a supporter were to be convicted of racial abuse at a football match, they would certainly be given a 3-year football banning order, meaning they couldn't go near any football ground in Tiers 1-5 when a match was on, and would have to surrender their passport when England were playing abroad.

Could be some interesting legal times ahead if Terry is convicted.

The Chelsea player was at Hamleys toy store, in central London, today with his wife Toni, no doubt buying last-minute Christmas presents for the couple's twin children.

He was approached by a family who then asked him to pose for a picture with their baby son while another shopper captured the special moment on a mobile phone camera.
