The Prisoner The weight of expectation is always a factor, and on that basis it's easy to see why WHU are struggling at home (4 draws on the bounce). The more I think about it I can see them falling apart in more ordinary home games.

elrey The perfect season would be to finish third and lose in the play off final. The premiership was fun while it lasted (ie, the first season and a bit of the second) but the championship is much more fun!

Mr Optimist KUMB is a good read at the moment and like our own board sees a battle being played out with glass half full v glass half empty v glass someone has pissed in then smashed over your head!
I love the Reading trying to create a rivalry comment, no rivalry is there other than the league positions and if results keep up the way they are we won't be that either as we will be playing in a different division next season.

Mr Angry I have a mate who is a Saints fan and he was saying before Xmas that he fancied us to be there or thereabouts.
Incidentally, I'd like us and Saints to go up, and Brighton to go up via the play-offs; be good to have a load of Southern teams in the Prem!!

Just watching "goals on sunday" and all 5 people on there (kamara, sheppard, lee clark and his management team from huddersfield) said "i cant look further than the top 2 now".

Interesting that Southampton have scored 2 more and conceded the same.

KUMB
Most teams who come to The Boleyn, set out for a draw, I reckon Reading will come here to win the game and that will suit us down to the ground. We're a great counter attacking team who are very good at soaking up pressure and hitting teams on the break. What we're not good at is breaking teams down who put men behind the ball and then countering against us.
