My head says we are going up in an auto spot, and may even win the Championship. Why?

Our form
Our performances
We are scoring goals
Goals are coming from all over the pitch
Confidence
Great away record
West Ham have the yips

My heart says we are going to miss out on auto, and screw up in the play-offs. Why?

Recent past history shows that we always seem to come close, but no cigar.
The play-offs are a graveyard for us.
In a 3 horse race, we usually seem to be the one that stuffs up (the only time we didn't that I can remember was when we went up from what is now League 1 at Brentford's expense; even then, we damn near stuffed up from a position where we looked nailed on for promotion weeks earlier)

No need for a page of utterly gash stats or bullsh1t waffle to prove or disprove any of the above; its called gut feel.

Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

Great post Mr. A. Should we win tonight and on Saturday I shall feel way more confident.

Btw, I've wanted to start a thread saying Jason Roberts is God for a couple of days, I'm afraid though if I do, he'll get injured!

Brum a goal down at Doncaster. I would laugh wholeheartedly if they missed out on the Play-offs.

What a defining weekend this could be.

A win for us and a loss for West Ham will see us go 7 clear of third and that should, touch wood, be enough then, as their heads will drop.

Leeds is absolutely our biggest game of the season IMO. Two very tough away games after that.

The next three games will decide auto or play-offs for us!

Yours, an excited but nervous Cobi.
