I have down graded from devastated to numb.

TBF it's the comments from fans of every other club who make it worse for me (pretty much all of them who thought/wanted us to go up). They range from pity to embarrassment.

The pain went ten minutes after the game after seeing England performing a cricketing miracle.

I felt like crap on Monday but after watching BBC and Sky highlights realised we weren't robbed of extra-time like I thought on the day, so over the next few days felt just about ok, the odd moment of sadness apart. I think of us were guilty of getting carried away, myself included even though I always thought Swansea were likely winners unless Kebe was at his best. The 1st goal was always going to be so important and there was a sense the players knew it too. It reminds me of 2003 when we weren't ready to go up and overachieved. The difference this time though is the inevitable departures.

Anyway, couldn't let it linger for too long as i'm back at Wembley for the England game tomorrow, and feeling like I did on Monday there wouldn't have been much point going. I'm actually glad I am going, wouldn't have wanted my last live football of the season to be this game.

Finally was able to watch the highlights of the Swansea game yesterday - it still hurt, but couldn't bring myself to see them before now. :D

In a way I'm glad we lost and went up automatically this year.

Really enjoyed this season and we genuinely deserve it.

Am I the only one who adored Khiz last season? Well, during the league games, anyway. The man had a Berbatov-esque touch, possibly even the best in the whole squad at the time.

But I digress. I no longer look at Wembley from my window in despair. I feel triumphant now!
