Tokyo Sex Whale Something alone these lines...

Not your best work TSW.

Have we got two Carricos? Are they twins? Did we get two for the price of one? So many questions.

Not a bad Championship squad IMHO.

Fair enough, it does look like some high quality, time-consuming photoshopping you've done there.

Big Ern The squad is slightly better with the new additions, but still not good enough to stay in the Prem...on paper anyway.

Good job we play on grass then isn't it. Phew!

Stronger, but still not the full ticket in answer to the OP.

Our squad is looking good for a side prepared for the championship next season, and nothing more.

Stronger than this time last year, but not a Prem squad.

As it happens despite being fiercely critical of Madejski in the past and delighted he's going I think actually we took the sensible gamble in the summer. We couldn't have foreseen Feds' ghastly errors or Guthrie's tantrums or refs being blind to handballs. The gamble looks like it didn't work. That's fine. It'd be wrong now to spend millions to salvage something so all in all I'm quite content. We've a solid squad for next year. A good championship side on paper. Nothing more.

I don't think he would suit our style.

He really is a loner/ selfish player.....and can be lazy too....will not fit in to "The Reading way"

Still not good enough to finish 17th or higher in the EPL.

robinsfriday Difficult to gauge how good a player truly is when they're playing piss poor opposition week in-week out.

I recall seeing Kenny Sansom playing for Crtystal Palace when he was 16 in the old division 3 under Terry Venables. Some players stand out from the rest. Not the finished article. But have that something extra.

Ideal Looking a bit better now, but we've still only got HRK in terms of a left footed left wing (playing a right footed player at left wing is a hinderance no matter what some McAnuf onanists say), and our goalkeeper is below standard.

Understand your point, but McCleary was more than capable there last week.

Assuming that if Reading are relegated they all stay. We all know the answer to that - even you Brenders

talking about this season.
no one knows what will happen to the squad, and id expect the team to be quite different next season regardless of what division we are in.

id only be getting rid of guthrie and pog if we went down if i were in charge.

While on the subject of how the squad looks on paper, compared with the rest of the prem, it is the weakest squad of all.

Isn't lazy or selfish these days. Hasn't been since McDermott started getting the best out of him.
