A pre-season friendly at the NY Stadium would be a good way of giving RUFC some of the additional cash they should have got when Alfie came to Berkshire. £300,000 is a little embarassing.

Yes, I am sure that the tiny gate such an unappealing friendly fixture would make would really make the difference.

ALF appearing would guarantee a reasonable home crowd and it would be a new stadium for many travelling Royals and not too far.

This is Rotherham in Yorkshire we're talking about?! Coventry is normally too far for most!
