Archie's penalty It's not Le Fondray!

IT IS pronounced that way. Dellor is absolutely right. He asked Alfie himself how it should be pronounced & this is what he was told. So he is right & we are all wrong!

The song needs to change to "oooohhh Adam Le Fon-drey"

M Brook

M Brook A pre-season friendly at the NY Stadium would be a good way of giving RUFC some of the additional cash they should have got when Alfie came to Berkshire. £300,000 is a little embarassing.

Yes, I am sure that the tiny gate such an unappealing friendly fixture would make would really make the difference.

ALF appearing would guarantee a reasonable home crowd and it would be a new stadium for many travelling Royals and not too far.

This is Rotherham in Yorkshire we're talking about?! Coventry is normally too far for most!

One thing that strikes me about that article is that Alfie hasn't looked after that leather.

Good article. Guthrie sounds like a right big head.

Journalist to Adam Le Fondre: "It’s not usual though - for the European Champions to concede a two goal lead with two minutes to go?"

Alfie: "Yeah, well, they don’t often play at the Madejski…."
