Rumour: Leigertwood to Leeds

Makes sense - was a McD favourite; has shown he's a great player in the Championship and NA doesn't seem to rate him ... first to go?

You are very sad people if you are celebrating the idea of Leigertwood's departure.

Why any Reading FC fan would be happy to see Ledge go is beyond me. He is clearly not a Premier League player, but 90% of the playing squad have also proved they are not Premier League players.

He is a proven Championship player and would be great to have in our squad next season. All this hype about Carrico and Guthrie, I know who I would rather have battling away in the middle of the park at Burnley or Donny away on a cold Tuesday night in December!

Actually to be fair, he was hot and cold in the Championship as well but obviously better for longer periods. He's a confidence player. He also got a lot of stick in that league until he found some confidence. Let's not suddenly mask over the cracks and believe he's a Championship superstar, because he isn't.

Carrico, Akpan, Karacan are all ahead of him IMO. Guthrie too but I expect him to leave, and I expect at least one of Adkin's new players to be a CM he chooses to suit his style.

And therein lies an issue. Your opinion counts for nothing when it comes to team selection as you are not the manager nor one of his coaching team. We have yet to se where he sits in NA's pecking order for the Championship. It may be behind all those and it may be at the head of them. Who knows? Not you and not me.
