Royal Rother And yes, Ramsey's is a heartwarming story really. I thought he was really poor most of last season which was such a shame after the immense promise he'd shown as a teenager. Now he is transformed into something pretty special. He looks a totally different person / player.

Yep, nice to see him finally getting back to how he was before the bad injury. Wonder if its been a physical or mental issue thats taken so long for him to get back to his best.

Top of the league, 5 clear of 5th and 8 clear of United. Despite having a threadbare squad and only three additional players to the squad that limped into fourth last year. Wenger working his magic again.

If reading are not in the prem I have to say arsenal are my fav team. For some reason I just love watching them play, and never a boring game. Real test will be against the other top 5 contenders, only played spurs ao far

They accumulated more points than anyone else in the 2nd half of last season and have started off in similar vein - real title contenders.

Lux, Spacey and retro will be enjoying it.

Yep, horrible freemason club.

Only Chelsea are more dislikeable.

That Ramsey goal was a thing of beauty. Goal of the season so far.

After the opening day of the season nobody would have guessed Arsenal would have 15 pts from 6 games. Hats off to Arsene and his team.

I know it's been said before but it bears repeating - Ramsey is simply unrecognisable from the player of last season. Stunning transformation. Having 2 new players of his and Ozil's class really could take Arsenal to glory this year.

relatively easy run at the end of last season (they played us) and a fairly comfortable start to this one

United have had a tough start, draw against Chelsea and defeats to City and Liverpool not wholly unexpected. Prolly should have beat Liverpool but got completely spanked by City. They really should be picking up results against your WBA's (yes i'm one of your pcunt's)

City dropping points against Stoke, Cardiff and Villa

Spurs have done well and had two tough games against London rivals

Conclusion: far too early to read anything into it

Presumably they played the top teams in the 2nd half of last season? And presumably the other top teams also played the likes of us in the 2nd half of last season. Not sure of your point there.

Looking at results of all the top teams in 2013 it really isn't too early to draw the conclusion that Arsenal are as much title contenders this season as any other team. To say otherwise is simply ignoring the facts.

The only thing i'm stating is Arsenal played more of the weaker sides in the 2nd half of the last season and have only played 1 game (which they won) against top opposition so far compared to Utd (3), Chelsea(2), Spurs(2).

you would expect Stronger Teams to beat Weaker Teams >>

I like Arsenal and am glad they got Champs League ahead of Spurs. I would be delighted for Arsene Wenger if he won the league this season.

Generally you play a side once in each half of the season, so I'd be delighted to see you prove your point with Arsenal's last 20 fixtures from last year.

Oddly it does appear that Arsenal played each of Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool and Spurs once each in the 2nd half of the season.

1 Jan, 17:30 Southampton 1 - 1Arsenal Premier League
13 Jan, 16:00 Arsenal 0 - 2Manchester City Premier League
20 Jan, 13:30 Chelsea 2 - 1Arsenal Premier League
23 Jan, 19:45 Arsenal 5 - 1West Ham United Premier League
30 Jan, 19:45 Arsenal 2 - 2Liverpool Premier League
February
2 Feb, 15:00 Arsenal 1 - 0Stoke City Premier League
9 Feb, 15:00 Sunderland 0 - 1Arsenal Premier League
23 Feb, 15:00 Arsenal 2 - 1Aston Villa Premier League
March
3 Mar, 16:00 Tottenham Hotspur 2 - 1Arsenal Premier League
16 Mar, 15:00 Swansea City 0 - 2Arsenal Premier League
30 Mar, 15:00 Arsenal 4 - 1Reading Premier League
April
6 Apr, 15:00 West Bromwich Albion 1 - 2Arsenal Premier League
13 Apr, 15:00 Arsenal 3 - 1Norwich City Premier League
16 Apr, 19:45 Arsenal 0 - 0Everton Premier League
20 Apr, 15:00 Fulham 0 - 1Arsenal Premier League
28 Apr, 16:00 Arsenal 1 - 1Manchester United Premier League
May
4 May, 17:30 Queens Park Rangers 0 - 1Arsenal Premier League
14 May, 19:45 Arsenal 4 - 1Wigan Athletic Premier League
19 May, 16:00 Newcastle United 0 - 1Arsenal Premier League

But yes, I guess it's fair to say that they have had a friendlier set of fixtures at the start of this season.
