Sanguine Brilliant equaliser. It might be dull and German, but end to end and a goal in about 8 passes was sensational.

Diego's goal for Atletico worth a watch or seven!

United score, nothing from you. Bayern equalise, straight on here to mention it. Deary me. Good evening?

Didn't watch the game but saw the goals and red card at the end of the TV programme.

If Robben had dived to get someone sent off like Rooney did it is all we would be hearing about now.

In what way were they "class"?
Did they turn up in dinner jackets and just drink champagne at half-time?

One of the best headed goals I've ever seen last night by Vidic.

Comment8ing on the Chelsea game tonight. Having done a bit of background research, I think it isn't going to go their way at all.

Thinking of bringing back the commentary thread for any requests for tonight.

Would think Chelsea need to be mindful of giving too many free kicks away, there's some decent takers in the PSG side.

It was a good atmosphere last night. However you never hear the commentators cream their pants and say "Nothing like a European night at Old Trafford". That sentence (change ground) is reserved for Liverpool only. Except, I've been to Anfield four times, once in the CL and their fans were terrible. The only thing I will say about Liverpool fans is, they're the most ridiculous fans for throwing their toys out the pram when a player of theirs is fouled or isn't fouled but goes to ground.

Nice to see Liverpool appearing in a Champions League thread again-back where they belong.
I like the idea that their fans are worse than others for claiming fouls on their players -for "Liverpool" read "Every home team from Carlisle to Plymouth".
BTW I was there at Stamford Bridge for THAT game against 10-man Barcelona-my were the natives screaming for everything until the wonderful Iniesta showed Chelsea how to score with just seconds left to play.
