The 4-2 away win at West Ham a season later was up there as well, our fans were brilliant on both those days. Two great late season charges under McD and I won't forget that, at least we went up the second time! (I missed Southampton away the same season)

2005/06 was the first year I went to more than a few games, and I have some great memories of games between 2005 and 2007, including a 4-3 away win at Crewe where we memorably sang "We'll never play you again" and so far, I dont think we have!

Also the 2-0 away win at Man City (Leroy Lita du du du du, scored two late goals and had one wrongly disallowed in the first half) When we play them there again it really will be a case of "We were here when you were shit" if ever there was one.
Some brilliant home games as well, the 6-0 vs West Ham most memorably, I remember half of their fans left at half time and the ones that were left started doing the conga

The best RFC performance I've ever seen was probably the 05/06 season 5-1 win at home to Cardiff, we really were awesome that day. The scoreline flattered Cardiff, could easily have been 10-1. All summed up by the Cardiff fans singing things like "Are you Arsenal in disguise" and "It's just like watching Brazil"

I feel privileged to have been watching Reading during their most successful period, but I'm sure some of you golden oldies have some classic games you can remember from the dark ages

Here's to hoping Nige can bring some new glory days before too long...
