TBM Mine says "red upper - row 31" - so how does that work? (its a £63 ticket btw)

To save any confusion. Red upper are these blocks just above the horizontal walkway in the lower tier. In this pic, the arrow is pointing to red upper block 104.

Silver Fox Tickets have arrived and happily unlike Kes' ones someone hasn't voided them with a marker pen

Post a picture of the tickets with the bar codes on show m8......

loyalroyaldaz As others have said if this is true then its an absolute travesty. I queues from 7:15 on that first morning and there were less than 30 people in front of me. When eventually got near the front we heard that blocks 102 and 103 were sold already before the first person in the queue was served ! This itself was terrible considering we had been told the best seats would be available to us but if they have held them back and are selling them now then it is indeed scandalous.
Whilst in that queue a block from Star came in to channge some notices on a board in the ticket office and i asked him if "Star were going to have something to say about the chaos"? His response was to shrug his shoulders and say "it's always going to happen when people jump on the bandwagon"!
I reminded him that actually all the people in this queue were season ticket holders and not part time supporters. He scuttled off after that. I assume he has a nice seat in 102.....
Ive a good mind to have a chat with old Charlie Watts about this.
Absolutely Fu.c.king Fuming......!

I would say you would be within your right to swap your tickets as you were told incorrect information regarding block 102. Basically, go up the ticket office and kick off.

Sorry. you're wrong. Those seats start at about row 31 so anybody who has "upper" with a lower row number will not be in that section. As I said there is no "upper" it's just something that was indicated for all tickets sold via the Web.

See http://www.mapaplan.com/seating-plan/wembley-stadium-chart-london/high-resolution/wembley-stadium-london-seating-plan-00b-Detailed-row-block-numbering-football-cup-finals-matches-diagram-high-resolution.htm

So to clarify - 'red upper' is from row 31 upwards?

The arrow points to the section that starts from row 31. You can see the detailed plan using the link I posted above. As I say the term "upper" is not used by Wembley. So the poster who has got a seat in row 2 and was told it was in "red upper" is two rows away from the pitch, not in row 33 (31+2).

Also you will see no reference to "red upper" on your tickets. I've just checked mine (row 40) and there is no reference to colour or upper/lower.

Can't believe I have to sit in those seats! If only there was a "view from your seat" option on the Wembley website. I mean, the least the club could have done was put up an overview of the Stadium where you can see the position of all the different zones. oxf*rd fuming right now, might even go and burn the Madejski down to the f[u]cking ground!

Zammo Grandad Alan, 62, said: “It’s his first ever trip to London and I think he’s more looking forward to seeing Buckingham Palace than walking out with the Reading players!”

ALOL

"He said if Bradford had got to the semis he would have put a Town shirt under his kit – and lifted his shirt to show who he really supported. He says he might still do that!”

Probably not the last time he'll lift a shirt in his life.

I hope he does and then cries his eyes out at a few people booing him.

I understand that but mine are red upper row 31, there isn't 31 rows in that little section...

72 bus It's a fukking shambles, I bought online within 30 mins of the tickets going on sale.
Red 105 upper £63.00 so you would imagine a decent seat, ticket arrived today and the muppets have given me row 2, how the oxf*rd is that upper ?

Don't panic. Red Upper is the section of seats at the back of the lower tier you can see here.

So the club has Mis sold the tickets. On-line they came up as red upper so accepted the choice. There are clearly two sections to block 104 so everyone would assume it was the upper section as the arrow shows. If the seats are two rows from the pitch I will demand a change. Why the hell would they use the word 'upper' if it means nothing at all?

Maybe it meant upper class as only us posh lot can afford the extra tenner for a ticket.

TBM I'm just glad its the opposite side of the ground to me

I'm guessing these are the "extra" tickets we bought or they are ones family and friends didn't want

I guess the charitable view is that these are the extras (above the initial 31500) the club asked for otherwise you have to question why these have been held back.
Fcuk all chance these are going to end up in the hands of "genuine" supporters now - of RFC that is.

But remember there are hundreds of STH who were refusing to go because they couldn't sit with Aunty Mabel or Fred who sits near them sometimes.
Now they can get tickets together and not miss our big day.
It's a miracle and no more than our loyal fans deserve.

I think the reason that these blocks near the half way line are held back is a request from Wembley. If the club does not sell out then these blocks can be handed over to the opposition team without affecting segregation, where as if they are blocks behind the goal they cannot do this.

That is just a possible explanation and not a fact btw.
