Yes, but when a massive club like Liverpool come calling, you don't ignore it, like you would if a smaller club approached you, like Chelsea.

They only sacked him a couple of seasons back....why would they re-appoint him?

LMA stating that the current campaign sackings were at a 13 year high across the top 4 divisions, with 47 losing their jobs (20 alone in the Championship).

Probably still a few more to come.....as Sheridan gets the boot at Argyle

What the actual f*ck are Brentford doing sacking off Warburton - under whom they have been consistently succesful - with a foreign manager when they're in the Championship FFS? You can understand foreign managers in the Premier League to an extent (its a gloabl league, the Championship isn't. Although isn't it nice to see an english manager such as Monk perform at least as well as - for example and given respective budgets - Pochettino?) but in the english second tier? Utterly pretentious nonsense, hope they struggle next season.

In other news, Nigel Adkins will be getting the Sheff U job. Sliding down the divisions isn't he, Brendan Rodgers will be next one on that downward spiral.

The Brentford chairman is a numbers man, he looks at statistics over ability/performance. Its like a real life game of Football Manager. He wants a manager with the right stats, to buy the players he identifies as having the best set of numbers to their name etc.....
