John Madejski's Wallet LUX Pretty pleased for AFCB, 4 -1 up. Hope they survive/ finish high up.
^^ that was a terrific performance. Could have been more than 6
A very good performance and making the most of it against a potential relegation side.
Next Saturday will give us a better idea of whether Bournemouth have improved as they play Spurs, one of the sides that outplayed them twice last season.
Watching bits of the Middlesboro game and all of the Saints v Burnley game it shows what we all knew that the gap now between Championship and Premier becomes ever greater.
Burnley IIRC hardly lost a game last season but, apart from the flukey win v Liverpool, have struggled.
Only Sunderland may stop all 3 promoted sides going straight back down and it looks already as though two of the relegated sides in Newcastle and Norwich are nailed on for an immediate return despite not making many net improvements to their squads-in the case of Norwich I think they are actually weaker and as for Newcastle despite buying a few it is arguable whether that improves them with Sissoko and the striker having left as well as the little black midfielder who was always getting booked.
I do envy what Bournemouth are doing and am still disappointed that we didn't invest in that second season the first time around whereas Bournemouth have certainly splashed the cash and it is paying off.
