The second Czech goal was almost Readingesque from a Reading defence point of view).

stealthpapes As this isn't an England comment, it can go here. Czechs were full of digs and niggles weren't they? Some top, top shithousery going on.

Ireland are an appalling team. It will be no loss if they fail to qualify.

It was a typical Mick McCarthy game though. He'll more than likely pick up scrappy away points but you have to question at what cost do you scrap entertainment for it?

O’Neill was even worse. Football that belongs in the dark ages.

Old Man Andrews Bale injured again. Bloke is made of extremely weak glass.

stealthpapes Ukraine, Poland and Russia join Belgium and Italy in qualifying.
Keep an eye out for the clusterfuck that the draw will be - host teams automatically go into certain groups, Ukraine and Russia, for example, are not allowed to be drawn together in the Group stage, plus they want to keep some sort of seeding, and then there's the play offs.
Which are going to see one of Georgia, North Macedonia, Kosovo or Belarus qualify (well, unless Kosovo upset the form book a bit and topple the Czech republic, in which case, err, Luxembourg).
Prayers with LUX in this difficult time.
